EP 123: We Are Back!

It’s been a while…

I know, I know!
We stopped publishing suddenly without giving you any reason.

Sorry about that.

The truth is that it’s mostly Grant’s fault we stopped the podcast.

Ok, that’s not entirely true. 🤣

What happened is we made some significant changes in business.

And…
We grossly underestimated how much it would take to pull it off.

Across this year, we have re-engineered the media business we run into an advertising agency.

As the demands of the advertising business ramped up, we just didn’t have room to podcast.

In the last six months, we have hired over 30 people.
+ had to re-tool and retrain many team members to be focused on ads.

Sometimes you’ve got to go all in on a project to make it happen.
(I’m glad we did.)

While I’ll admit it has been challenging at times, it has also been MASSIVELY rewarding.

We have pivoted from a business that was heading into some headwinds into a business that is set up in a tailwind.

Business is much easier and more profitable when you are in a tailwind!

I might do a podcast episode down the road on how to re-engineer a business.
