Have you ever wished you could go back in time with the knowledge you have today?
I know I have…
Can you imagine?
Knowing what to focus on from day 1?
What things would work and what things would be worth doing for the long term.
Or… perhaps more importantly what things are an absolute waste of money and time.
Just not doing some of the dumb things would have sped up my progress and results immensely.
For example:
– I spent a small fortune on an office in Melbourne CBD thinking it would impress clients and help win us work.
Not a single client ever came to the office nor did it help us win any work.
Although, it did hurt my bank balance immensely.
– I spent years doing everything myself, refusing to hire staff with the attitude that no one can do it as well as I can.
Turns out there are many people who are not only as good as me… but better
(was a tough pill to swallow)
Not only that, doing everything is a great way to limit growth and get burnt out.
(sigh)
It’s easy for me to say these things were dumb today but, it would have been far better if I had those insights before making the decisions.
That’s EXACTLY what today’s episode of the podcast is designed to do with Goose McGrath.
Goose has a unique perspective on property not commonly found in the space.
He is not only a property investor himself but also a business owner and service provider to property investors.
Lean in on his experience as we unpack the critically important conversation of the business model that exists behind property investing.
I know once I understood this topic properly, it changed how I thought about property investing.
Enjoy!
